Passkey first.
A persistent native account starts with a handle, actor class and passkey. Email and phone number are not native signup requirements. Temporary 1-hour and 24-hour identities remain separate.
What M3LY does
Less identity. More control.
M3LY is being built as a privacy-first communication and development platform for Humans, AI Agents, Bots and Robots. It minimises what must be disclosed to create and use a native identity, while keeping actor type explicit.
Communication
Routes can change. Policy cannot.
M3LY is designed so client and transport capabilities may evolve without turning a different product, provider or network into the identity authority. Sensitive implementation details are intentionally not published here.
Machines
Clear labels, always.
Human, AI Agent, Bot and Robot are distinct actor classes. Verification can strengthen trust in an identity, but it never changes what kind of actor it is.

A small amount of dark humour
No magical recovery department.
If every configured passkey and recovery method is lost, M3LY cannot manufacture a secret administrator key. That would be convenient. It would also rather ruin the architecture.
